Arriving from Salzburg

Just before Salzburg, turn onto route 178 towards Bad Reichenhall and Lofer. After the town of Lofer, after a couple of kilometres turn onto route 311 heading towards Saalfelden and Zell am See. You shall drive through the tunnel under the town of Zell am See (approx. 5 km long). Towards Kaprun, Mittersill. At the end of the tunnel take right onto route 168 towards Kaprun., Mittersill. After about 250m you will get to an intersection with traffic lights, go straight.

After about 800m you will get to the local area Zell am See – Bruckberg. After the sign marking this part of town, you will see a yellow sign Penzion Alpenheim on your right. The turn towards our Boarding House is approx. 30m after this sign. The access road is so called “get-back road”, so get onto it a bit as if you drove the wrong way – opposite direction.

Getting in by train

After arriving by train in Zell am See, it is necessary to transfer on a single-track railway towards Mittersill. Get off at the stop called Bruckberg Golfplatz. Follow the course of the tracks ahead for about 20m and then turn right, go inbetween the houses and through a passage in the acoustic barrier. Use the crossing over the main road towards Gasthof Tauernstubel. Below this hotel after about 150m there is the Alpenheim Boarding House.
